TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER LUNCHEON

Friday, June 15th, 2007

TEA sponsored a technology transfer luncheon July 11, 2007 in Mobile, Alabama, which discussed the use of Engineered_Phytoremediation℠ technology. Unlike phytoremediation systems that rely on natural root development, an engineered approach, as used by TEA, directs the root system development to the contaminated zone. Controlling the root system:

  • Accelerates the remedial attributes of the vegetative system;
  • Allows substantially improved ability to quantify remedial results;
  • Treats contaminated groundwater to depths of 30 feet or more;
  • Limits plume migration by hydraulically controlling groundwater;
  • Treats specific zones of contaminated soil and groundwater; and
  • Treats DNAPL and similar contaminants by combining various enhanced bio/phytoremediation strategies to improve results.

New Emergency Response Services

Friday, June 1st, 2007

A Clean Environment (ACE) and its subcontractors, including TEA, have been selected as a premier contractor by a major insurance carrier to provide Emergency Response services. The professionals at TEA will be called upon to respond to various emergencies with our specially trained staff within the first 24 hours of an incident. ACE and TEA will provide continuity as an emergency response team to provide a complete turn key package in the event of a chemical release or other emergency. We will be on the scene from the beginning and we will remain long after the initial emergency to provide environmental remediation consultation and litigation support, if required.

For more information, view our webpage titled “Emergency Response” under our services.
