Emergy Conference Presentation
Tuesday, February 12th, 2008Drs. Amy Hunter, Don Blancher, and Ben Vivas of TEA’s Mobile, Alabama office, and Dr. Ray Brassieur of the¬†University of Louisiana, Lafayette, presented a research paper at the recent Fifth Biennial Emergy Research Conference held in Gainesville, Florida.¬† The paper was entitled, Valuing The Subsistence Use of Goods and Services in Louisiana Coastal Communities:¬† Using Emergy to Analyze Non-Market Activity.¬† Participants included Emergy researchers from the¬†United States, Italy, Brazil, Canada, China, Taiwan, Slovenia, Spain, Mexico, and Sweden.¬†¬†To view the PowerPoint, click on the following link:¬† emergy-valuation-of-coastal-la-subsistence.pdf.¬†
