Dr. Greg Booth Attends the Florida Remediation Conference

Dr. Greg Booth attended the Florida Remediation Conference (FRC) in Kissimmee, FL on October 15 – 16, 2009. The FRC is an annual soil and groundwater cleanup conference primarily targeting environmental professionals in the southeastern United States. Dr. Booth is a frequent participant and remarked, “as usual, the FRC provided excellent opportunities for networking with key personnel in the local environmental industry. There was a lot of focus on Green Remediation, in-situ delivery systems, and innovative products and approaches were presented.”

Dr. Droy Attends ASTM Green Cleanup Task Group Meeting

Dr. Brad Droy, President and CEO of TEA, attended the first meeting of the ASTM E50.04 Green Cleanup Task Group in Atlanta, Georgia on October 22, 2009. This group is committed to the establishment of an ASTM green cleanup standard guidance document based on a list of green cleanup core elements developed by the EPA. Dr. Droy will remain involved and continue to provide input as the ASTM green cleanup standard is developed. He will be directly serving on a subcommittee devoted to the determination of how cleanup strategies will be implemented in a tiered fashion.
