TEA Welcomes Les Porterfield, P.E.
TEA is pleased to announce the addition of Les Porterfield, P.E. to our team of environmental professionals. Mr. Porterfield has 30 years of civil engineering experience. He has 26 years of total environmental management experience of which 18 involve major environmental program and project management for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Navy, Air Force, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), US Department of Transportation (DOT), US Coast Guard (USCG), and a variety of industrial clients. His project management background includes Underground Storage Tank (UST) removal, bioremediation, thermal treatment, groundwater treatment, vacuum extraction, remedial design, site investigations, and closure certification. He has managed large, multidisciplinary project teams and engineering staffs performing field work, process and conceptual design functions and operation and maintenance of hazardous waste, solid waste and wastewater treatment facilities. He has extensive experience with federal, state and local issues related to Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Clean Air Act (CAA), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and other regulations.
