TEA Participates in the 2010 LDEQ Green Business Expo

Dr. Greg Booth of TEA was one of nine featured presenters at the inaugural 2010 Green Business Expo, hosted by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ). Dr. Booth’s presentation focused on the use of Emulsified Zero-Valent Iron (EZVI), a NASA patented and licensed technology, for the remediation of dense non-aqueous phase liquid (DNAPL) source areas. Other green and sustainable remediation technologies used by TEA, such as engineered phytoremediation and AMTS (a NASA patented PCB remediation product), were featured at the TEA booth in the exhibitors’ area. The LDEQ Green Business Expo was held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the LDEQ Headquarters in Baton Rouge, LA. Members from industry, federal, state, and local government were in attendance at this event. Click on the following link for more information about the 2010 LDEQ Green Business Expo.
