TEA Celebrates 900,000 Hours with NO OSHA Recordables

That’s right… since TEA has opened its doors in 1996 we have had NO OSHA RECORDABLES!

Safety has always been top priority for TEA!  Our Health and Safety professionals have instilled a strong safety culture in all of our employees, subcontractors and peers.  Countless hours are spent on safe working procedure development and injury prevention within the TEA Safety Committee and passed on during in house employee training.

“This is an outstanding accomplishment for TEA!  Not only have we achieved 900,000 hours injury free, we have not had a recordable event occur within TEA since being founded in 1996.  This truly highlights an evolved safety culture and validates employee safety as being a primary core value within the company.  I am extremely proud of each employee of TEA and look forward to achieving 1,000,000 hours injury free in the very near future!” said Dennis Huggard, Executive Director of Environmental, Health & Safety.

To celebrate this achievement Jerry Hart, Certified Safety Professional and a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, presented TEA with a trophy recognizing this feat.
