Wetland Investigation and Restorations

Toxicological & Environmental Associates, Inc. (TEA) scientists have extensive regional, national, and international experience and capabilities in coastal science in the fields of toxicology, chemistry, geology, geography, hydrology, ecology and biology with significant potential to address critical and complex ecosystem issues.

This extensive experience in Coastal Sciences ranges from evaluating the ecological status of complex large natural systems, to determining subtle impacts to various coastal habitats from man's activities. TEA scientists have been involved in every type of environmental field exercise, including measurement of physical (bathymetry, circulation and flow studies, sediment depositional studies), chemical (water quality, toxicological and risk assessments), geological (sedimentary characterization and coastal sediment movement) and biological (plankton, macroinvertebrates, wetlands, and fishes) ecosystem components in support of a variety of scientific investigations.

Following data collection, TEA scientists have provided unique analytical, policy and legal solutions to complex ecological and toxicological questions using sophisticated tools and methods, such as habitat mapping and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
