Environmental Toxicology

Aquatic toxicologists and wetland experts at Toxicological & Environmental Associates, Inc. (TEA) have conducted hundreds of toxicology evaluations and risk assessments for clients across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. The nature of the work performed by TEA includes toxicological investigations in freshwater, salt water, and estuarine environments. Data collection projects include acute and chronic laboratory bioassays, sediment toxicity evaluations, benthic macroinvertebrate assessments, and bioaccumulation studies in freshwater, estuarine and marine settings. Information generated during the course of these studies has been used to support ecological and human health risk assessments, sediment and surface water toxicity criteria development, and litigation.
