Soil Remediation

TEA uses a multidisciplinary team approach, has formulated, designed, and implemented numerous site-specific soil remediation strategies.  These strategies have addressed a wide range of contaminants of concern, from volatile organic constituents to metals in soil. 

The team approach at TEA consists of input from engineers, geologists, and toxicologists with regards the most cost-effective and technologically sound approach for design of the soil remedial strategy.  The selected strategy can range from a variety of remedial methods, from the traditional excavation/disposal scenario to an engineered in-situ bioremediation system.  TEA has also utilized a combination of remedial methods to address soil contamination.  Remedial approaches are ultimately dependent on the constituents of concern.  These approaches may include, but not be limited to, the following:
